Puppy day care
Just bought a Vizsla puppy and slightly underestimated it? Feeling a bit overwhelmed by this breed’s high energy level? Or is it simply not yet able to stay in the crate for 8 hours while work is being done (at home or at the office)?
If the answer to one or more of these questions is “yes”, then this is the solution. A Vizsla puppy that leaves the litter at 8 weeks to live with a new family looks super cute, but just as children don’t know everything the moment they are born, the same goes for young dogs. Far too often young dogs have to be “reset” and rehomed because new owners underestimated this first, oh-so-important phase of upbringing, or simply didn’t have the time (busy family life, work, etc.) to do the “right” things for their Vizsla pup.
Choosing homely puppy day care with a Vizsla breed specialist can prevent many problems. No separation anxiety, no biting incidents, no fearful, unsocialised dog, no dog that refuses to go in the crate or the car, but a puppy that is trained calmly and gently by someone who has, and takes, the time. If there is not enough time or knowledge available, the puppy can be brought here, with the aim of guiding the Vizsla puppy through those first crucial weeks and preventing the worst outcome of all: rehoming.
During school holiday periods (see the bottom of the page) it is a bit busier with holiday boarding and there is temporarily no puppy day care.
